Located within a 22,000-hectare private concession in the Okavango Delta, Wilderness Chitabe is bordered by the Moremi Game Reserve. The area encompasses a diverse range of habitats, including open floodplains, wooded islands, and perennial waterways, attracting a rich variety of wildlife. The camp's strategic position allows for exclusive game-viewing experiences, away from the more frequented tourist routes.

The camp comprises eight spacious Meru‑style tents, each 113 m² in size, raised on stilted wooden decks to enhance immersion in nature. Each tent includes a lounge area, en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, private deck overlooking the Delta, and modern conveniences like Nespresso machines, minibar, safe, ceiling fan, and efficient canvas insulation, designed for comfort throughout seasonal temperature changes—perfect for upscale safari travelers.

Guests at Wilderness Chitabe can enjoy twice‑daily game drives (day and night), guided bush walks, birdwatching, and stargazing.
