Location

Positioned in north-west Namibia’s Hoanib Valley at the confluence of tributary desert rivers, the camp is accessible only by light aircraft, reinforcing its sense of remote luxury. Situated within the Palmwag Conservancy and a short fly-in to the Skeleton Coast, it offers unique access to desert-adapted wildlife, shipwreck beaches, seal colonies, and vast lunar landscapes.

Rooms

The camp features eight pale-olive luxury tented suites and one spacious family tent. Each tent combines canvas and concrete on stilts, with private ensuite bathrooms and a shaded deck overlooking the valley. The family unit includes two bedrooms with separate entrances and shared outdoor living space—all designed for comfort amid rugged desert surrounds.

Facilities and activities

The camp offers a solar‑powered main lounge and dining area with plunge pool and campfire deck. Activities include morning, afternoon and full‑day desert game drives, guided walks highlighting geological wonders and desert flora/fauna, coastal excursions by 4×4 or flight, wildlife research presentations, birdwatching, and night‑sky stargazing. Concierge services, laundry, Wi‑Fi, and eco‑friendly amenities complete the luxury offering.

Food and drink

Main Camp Dining — Pan-African cuisine served in the mess tent or around campfires. Includes communal dinners and alfresco luncheons on dunes or the Skeleton Coast. No fixed hours—meals are arranged around excursions.
